Thyroid Nodules

A thyroid nodule arises from an abnormal growth of cells within the thyroid gland. While most cases of thyroid nodules are benign, the possibility of cancer must still be considered. For benign nodules, we provide Radiofrequency Ablation as a form of non-surgical treatment.

Fine Needle Aspiration Biopsy

Thyroid nodules are common. It is estimated that up to 60% of our population may harbour thyroid nodules. The majority of nodules are not symptomatic and may never come to light. For patients who have been diagnosed with nodules, this may become a source of anxiety.

Thyroid Cancer

Thyroid conditions are common. We perform on-the-spot ultrasound evaluation with a fine-needle biopsy so that a diagnosis may be obtained within the same consultation. Treatment options include radiofrequency ablation (non-surgical) for benign nodules and minimally invasive (endoscopic or robotic) surgery.
